Communities
We live and work within the local area and are passionate about the areas we work within. We believe that actively supporting local charities and communities is pivotal to our long-term success.

Our story
Chandlers has been a cornerstone of the Stevenage property scene since 1997, when Ben South and David Golding joined forces to start their journey. David Murray, who began his career with Chandlers in 1998 with no prior experience, was an integral part of the team. After gaining invaluable insights and contributing to the growth of the business, David progressed to work for several corporate estate agents across Hitchin, Milton Keynes, and St Albans.
With a history of innovation—including launching lettings in 2006 and expanding into New Homes in 2012—the business continues to thrive. Today, with a dynamic local team and solid community connections, Chandlers is poised to lead the future of property in Stevenage and surrounding towns and villages, including Knebworth, Welwyn, Walkern and Aston.

Staff Charity Days
We also encourage staff to help local charities, providing two paid days holiday per year for them to donate their time to local Charities.
As a business we support Stevenage Charitable Trust a local charity that helps local organisations and families and is supported by over 50 local businesses.

Chandlers good causes
We are delighted to share that starting in January of 2025 we will be supporting a range of worthy local causes. Through Chandlers good causes we have chosen five charities to partner with each providing a superb support for our local area. For each New Instruction or New managed property that successfully completes Chandlers will donate £50, with our client deciding the Charity to benefit. We hope that this will provide in the region of £5,000 towards local Charities and look forward to sharing the good work the Charities do throughout the year.
